This weekend we celebrate the first charity Including Tournament

Today noon, the Reial Mallorca Foundation and CaixaBank’s Social Enterprise have presented the first charity Inclusive Tournament to be celebrated this weekend, on October 29th and 30th at the Antonio Asensio Training Complex.

On behalf of the Foundation, its Director, Aurora Sampol, has told the press about the importance of this tournament of these dimensions in which up to 8 teams of players with mental special requirements take part. Some of these players are already enrolled in the Reial Mallorca Foundation schools, but others from different parts of the island will play for the first time on a Foundation scheme. One of the unique points of the tournament is the including player. A former RCD Mallorca, thanks to the collaboration from the Veteran Players Association at the Club, will play in each of the 8 teams and will have a direct influence in the result of the matches. This is an opportunity to see again on the pitch players of the likes of Trobiani or Pablo Maqueda.

In the presentation act, the Sporting Coordinator of the Reial Mallorca Foundation has pointed out that the results for the games will go beyond the actual score and will follow the rules set by the Green League, already in use for other Foundation projects. Also as part of the Club, the first team player Joan Oriol has been present to give his support to the Tournament.

On behalf of the CaixaBank’s Social Enterprise, Mr Tomeu Berga, responsable for Company Banking, has expressed his gratitude for allowing them to be part of this project and is pleased that the Club and Foundation work alongside their Centennial institution.

From the Club and from the Foundation we call out anyone to be part of this Football Party that will take part this weekend at Son Bibiloni.

On Saturday the presentation will take place at 9:30 A.M. and there will be games up until 19:00. On Sunday the finals will be played from 10:00 A.M. until 14:00.

The underlying message of this tournament is We All Play We All Win.
