RCD Mallorca B visited Dacesma association based in Felanitx to learn more about the neurorehabilitation of people who have suffered different types of strokes.
During the meeting, our young players shared time with the members of the association, learning about their day-to-day life, their recovery routines and the challenges they face.
“Seeing the players at a more professional level also makes them see that there is a totally separate world that is also hard and complicated,” explained Antonia Oliver, coordinator of the association. "One that is different from their own, but also involves sacrifice. They can compare and contrast opinions."
“It's nice in the end, meeting with people who live a different life, so to speak, is something that makes us learn how their experiences are,” player Sebas Wade said.
The visit follows several activities our younger sides are engaging in to better connect with out communities.
