Our Alevín A and Genuine sides train together for a special session

The training brought together the two teams for the first time

The Alevín A team within RCD Mallorca's grassroots football systemheld a very special training session shared with the club's LaLiga Genuine team to promote the sport, the Fundació Reial Mallorca and the Fundació Mallorca Integra.

The dynamic began with a talk to the Alevín players, in which they were introduced to the work being carried out by the club in terms of inclusive sport before various technical exercises and games to get to know one another better.

Jaume Mas, sports psychologist in our grassroots football system: “Today's dynamic was born from the desire we had from the grassroots football methodology department to unite the Fundació Reial Mallorca with formative football. We said: ‘What better than being able to do a joint training of the teams’, in this case of the Alevín A with the Genuine.”

During the welcome, Paco Cobo, coach of the Genuine team, said: "They are preparing at the Ciudad Deportiva, day after day, to be able to become professional players. And we are preparing ourselves, constantly and especially on Fridays, to be able to compete and represent Mallorca in the La Liga Genuine competition. That is what we have in common. In the end football unites us."

Cati Miralles, technician of the Fundació Mallorca Integra, added: “The idea is to be able to create something of a brotherhood between these two teams that belong to Mallorca, to get to know each other and to be able to work, above all, on the acceptance of diversity and the different skills and abilities that we all have.”
