RCD Mallorca presented its new Technical Director, Javier Recio, Saturday morning at the Player´s Lounge of the Antonio Asensio Sports Complex. Maheta Molango and Monti Galmés accompanied Recio, who expressed his excitement in joining the Club´s new project. When asked by the media, Recio explained that he could not pass up such an opportunity offered by Mallorca, and he would work long and hard to accomplish the Club´s objectives.
Additionally, the new Technical Director made it clear that he will start working in a project where everything can be improved; and, he is conscious of the steps that need to be taken in order to create a roster that works well with the ideals of the coach.
Then, Recio made sure to declare his belief in a strong youth program: “one of the factors to keep in mind is the raw talent that we have in our youth levels of the Club, of which we will give priority.”
CEO Maheta Molango, who was also present during this introduction, guaranteed that Recio is an upstanding professional who was hand-picked for his knowledge of the market and passion for soccer.
Finally, in a show of solidarity and a sign of things to come, Maheta Molango and Javier Recio promised to put everything they have into this Club.
