RCD Mallorca, Consell de Mallorca and Ecoembes announce recycling initiative

We’ve teamed up with the pair to implement an eco-friendly waste disposal system at the stadium and training ground

We’re proud to announce a collaboration with the Consell de Mallorca and Ecoembes which will introduce a new recycling system at Son Moix and Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio.

Our commitment to helping shape a sustainable and eco-friendly environment will see 200 recycling bins installed in addition to the inception of an improved economic regarding waste disposal.

Aurora Ribot, CEO of the Department of Sustainability and Environment of the Consell de Mallorca, said: “It’s very important to separate the different types of glasses. Now as well we will be able to do it here at RCD Mallorca’ home.” Following a presentation at Son Moix in front of assembled press, Executive Director Alfonso Díaz added: “We are very happy to be able to undertake this exciting project which protects the environment and this magnificent island.”

 

Alberto Caldeiro, Head Complimentary Recollection at Ecoembes also shared advice for visiting fans using our latest installations: “It is important to make it possible for plastic containers, cans and bricks, as well as cardboard and paper boxes, to have a second life, as well as in places of leisure and sport such as Son Moix. The goal is for citizens to recycle better and more often.”
