Vicente Moreno says his side are leaving Zamora CF satisfied following our 1-0 victory in the second round of the Copa del Rey.
Aleix Febas’ first-half strike proved to be the only goal of a tightly-contested fixture, and Moreno says our performance warranted the victory.
“We knew that we would be coming to a stadium against a very complicated opposition. They eliminated Sporting Gijon and we have deserved to go through. We have won 1-0 against a team that had still not lost. They have very good players for the division they are in.
Having switched to a three-man defence since the start of the new year, Moreno believes the new system is just another string to our bow.
“The formation is another possibility more,” he said. “We have taken this round very seriously and we think that with this variant we have managed to show our virtues.”
