This Sunday, before the match against Levante UD at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix (2:00 PM), the first-team players will warm up in a reissue of the jersey worn by the "Hijos de Vallecas" during the 1996-97 season, the year they were promoted to the First Division.
On June 29, 1997, RCD Mallorca conquered Vallecas and ignited a unique decade as Jovan Stankovic's left foot and Carlitos' goal paved the way to the top division and ushered in an era marked by titles, finals, and European nights that remain etched in the memories of all the "bermellonas" fans.
