Jordi Dosta, season ticket holder No.15 and resident of Sant Just Desvern
We met the fan from the town we travel to in our Copa del Rey debut
We will make our debut in the 2025/26 Copa del Rey in the town of Sant Just Desvern later this week and we met with resident Jordi Dosta Parcerisa, our 14th season ticket holder.
"Mallorca is part of me. It's like my son, like my father... it's part of me. I couldn't live without Mallorca," explains Dosta, who has had a connection with the island since his teenage years. His parents lived in Palma for several months before returning to Barcelona. At the age of 16, he spent a summer in the Balearic capital, where he began attending the old Lluís Sitjar stadium to watch the team's training sessions and matches.
Since then, his loyalty has not waned. At a time when following Mallorca from outside the islands was difficult, especially during those seasons in Segunda B or Tercera, Dosta says he would tune in to the radio from the balcony of his house to pick up the signal from Palma stations. ‘But at night I couldn't get it, so if a match was at night, I had to wait until the next day to read the newspaper and find out the result,’ he recalled.
He is currently a member of Penya Es Xubasquero, a supporters' group of about twenty Mallorca fans who meet at Basi's Bar on Josep Tarradellas Avenue in Barcelona whenever the team plays.
The Copa del Rey draw has brought him a very special match between his home and the club he loves.
