Vedat Muriqi joins Fenerbahçe SK

Our record goalscorer leave for Turkey as a club legend

RCD Mallorca and Fenerbahçe SK have reached an agreement for the transfer of Vedat Muriqi.

The Kosovan forward leaves the club a legend having become our all-time highest goalscorer with 57 goals to his name.

Having joined on loan during the winter transfer window of the 2021/22 season, the Kosovar striker quickly made a significant impact at RCD Mallorca, helping the club secure a hard-fought survival in the top flight with five goals and three assists.

Muriqi not only performed brilliantly on the pitch, but also won a place in the hearts of the Mallorcan supporters, who were delighted that the club was able to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer of 2022.

In the 2022/23 season, he scored 16 goals across LaLiga and the Copa del Rey an over the following two seasons, Muriqi added seven goals in each campaign and started in two memorable matches for the club: the 2024 Copa del Rey final and the 2025 Spanish Super Cup semi-finals.

In the recently concluded 2025/26 season, the Kosovar made history by overtaking Samuel Eto’o as our highest goalscorer and finished the season as LaLiga’s second-highest goalscorer with 23 goals.

The striker leaves the island having made 155 appearances, scored 58 goals and provided 12 assists, but above all, as a club legend and one of the players most beloved by all the fans for his performances both on and off the pitch.

RCD Mallorca is immensely grateful for his contributions to the club and wishes him the very best of luck for the future.
