Rodrigo Battaglia, Dani Rodríguez and Manolo Reina analyse the defeat to FC Barcelona

The three shared their thoughts on our 1-0 defeat to FC Barcelona

Rodrigo Battaglia, Dani Rodríguez and Manolo Reina were on post-match media duties after our 1-0 defeat to FC Barcelona.

On the game…

Rodrigo Battaglia: "We leave here a bit sad. A draw would have been fair. In the second half we showed that we are a competitive team, but we didn’t put away our clearest chance.”

Dani Rodríguez: "At the end of the day, football is all about the right decisions. I'm a little disappointed with the first half because we weren't ourselves, without the personality that characterises us. I'll take the second half because we're a team capable of putting Barcelona away and competing against anyone. Ter Stegen made a great save at the end.”

Manolo Reina: "They had one or two chances, but without any real danger. My right foot slipped and I didn't get there. We have to fight for what we have and we're already thinking about the Copa and the Levante game. We don't have to divert our attention. The team is in good spirits.”
