We are delighted to announce that PROA GROUP, an automotive and vehicle rental company, has become the club’s new sponsor until the end of the 2028/29 season.
The agreement was signed on Tuesday at the Son Castelló dealership, with the presence of PROA GROUP General Director Josep Maria Pastor, RCD Mallorca Corporate CEO Alfonso Díaz, and players Sergi Darder and Josep Cerdà.
The partnership brings together two organisations that share a clear commitment to proximity, growth and putting people first. Through the agreement, PROA GROUP, together with Gobycar, will strengthen its presence in Mallorca and continue bringing its brand closer to thousands of Bermellones supporters, while the Club welcomes a new strategic partner that will accompany RCD Mallorca over the next two seasons.
Gobycar, PROA GROUP’s car rental company, currently operates 16 offices across Spain, with a presence at some of the country’s main airports and train stations, providing extensive coverage across the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands and mainland Spain. The company is continuing its national growth and consolidation process.
As part of the agreement, the PROA GROUP logo will be displayed on the advertising boards at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix, both on matchdays and during training sessions, alongside various other visibility assets and activations designed to bring the brand closer to supporters throughout the season. The company will also become the Club’s Official Mobility Partner, with exclusivity within the mobility category.
Among the planned activations are two dedicated assets: “El Motor del Partido”, which will feature at all 21 of our home matches at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix, and “A bordo con Gobycar”, a series of interviews with first-team players that will be published throughout the season on thecClub’s official channels. PROA GROUP will also organise vehicle displays on matchdays, an automotive fair at the stadium itself, and an Escort Kids activation at an official competitive fixture.
Josep Maria Pastor, General Director of PROA GROUP, thanked the Club for having “thought of us” and said he hoped that “these three years can turn into many more.” He added: “In terms of values and culture, PROA GROUP is very close to the Mallorquinismo, and we want to contribute to it.”
FAlfonso Díaz, RCD Mallorca CEO of Business said: “It is a pleasure that PROA GROUP has placed its trust in us. It is very important that the island’s business community believes in the project, and we would like to thank them for the confidence they have placed in us.”
Speaking about the players, Sergi Darder said that “pre-season has been spectacular and the feeling is very positive. The manager is clear that he wants us to win while playing football.” New signing Josep Cerdà, meanwhile, said he was “very happy to be back here” and, in terms of his individual objectives, hopes “to contribute on the pitch, with numbers.”
