Victory and two goals: I’m obviously happy, but we can’t just focus on that. We have to keep pushing and fighting because there is still a very long way to go and we haven’t achieved anything yet.

Arnau Tenas’ assist: You couldn’t ask for any more from Arnau. I think it was perfect. I’m very happy to have been able to help the team and, above all, because the team performed really well and gave everything.

Complete performance: They came into the game unbeaten in the division and we knew it wasn’t going to be easy at all. They had the momentum from promotion, they compete hard and play with a huge amount of intensity. We knew that, at the very least, we had to match that intensity and then, above all, be aggressive on our home pitch, make ourselves strong here and really go at them. I think we did that, so we’re happy.

Luis García

Assessment of the match: Very good, we’re very happy. Sabadell are a very good side. I already said before the game that it was going to be really difficult because of their energy, the way they press and close down, and because they maintain that intensity throughout the whole match. But I think we adapted very well to the type of game we had to play, trying to find the players furthest forward so we could get facing goal and attack them quickly. It was a very end-to-end game. The supporters probably enjoy that a lot, although coaches perhaps enjoy it a little less.

3-5-2 formation: Because they were probably going to try to attack the space in behind quite a lot, knowing that we like to press high. They were going to put two players on the last line simply to draw us out and then try to attack that space. I think we competed and dealt with that very well. It’s also true that we then had to change because they changed as well. We had to push Liso a little higher to press and move Abou slightly wider into something closer to a back four. I think it worked well, regardless of the result. The players’ effort was incredible. Their physical numbers were very high, so it was a great performance and, thankfully, we came away with all three points.

Attacking efficiency: It’s very important that we convert those chances shortly after creating them. It’s true that we had a clear opportunity to kill the game off with a third goal. We didn’t take it and, in the end, a relatively narrow scoreline keeps you on edge until the final whistle. But above all I’m pleased for our supporters. We always have to thank them for the way they support us and push us on, and I hope they enjoyed another victory. Hopefully we can remain this strong and stay together.

Tenas and Fuentes’ move: It’s actually a situation we’ve seen many times in training because we know Arnau has the ability to play a ball that immediately puts you in an advantageous position. We already know all about Fuentes. I’ve known him for a long time and I know that when games open up and there is space, he is very, very dangerous. He played a great game today, punished the opposition and could have done so on a few more occasions. We’re happy not only for them, but for the effort of the whole team, both those who played more minutes and those who played fewer.

Arnau Tenas

Assist: First of all, congratulations to the whole team because they played an incredible game. And yes, I know Adri. I know he attacks space very well, and that he is brave and powerful. When I caught the ball, I saw him running and thought, ‘Right, I’m going to play it to him.’ I tried to kick it as hard as I could and fortunately it worked out. But as I said, the main thing is: three points, a home win, a clean sheet and, luckily for me, another assist.

Personal form: I feel very good and very confident, which is something I’ve never lacked. I think the team, the supporters and the coach have also given me that confidence. We’re working really well every week and improving game by game. I’m very happy to be playing here and I think you can see how happy, pleased and grateful I am.

The team celebrating with him after the first goal: I think the foundations of our wins and of our objective, which is to take Mallorca where it deserves to be, are togetherness, the group and the team. That celebration showed exactly that.

The match: I think the assessment is very positive. They are a strong, intense side who press well. We knew balls into space could cause them some problems and I think our performance was very good. We defended really well, made good use of the space in behind and I think the performance we produced today fully deserved the victory.

Victory and home debut: I’m very happy with the team’s victory and with making my home debut. It’s something I’ve dreamed about since I was a child and today it came true. I’m very happy about both things.

Who he thinks about at a moment like this: I think about myself as a child, when I used to sit in the stands and support the team.

How he feels personally: I feel really good. Both the coaching staff and the players are giving me the confidence I need to be ready for days like today. I’m very happy and very comfortable here.

Making home a fortress: I’m very happy because, as well as winning our games at home, we’ve now kept three consecutive clean sheets here. That gives us confidence to keep going, stay up near the top and fight for our objective.
