Muriqi, Morlanes and Hadžikadunić reflect upon our 3-3 draw with Real Valladolid

The trio spoke to the media after we shared a point

Vedat Muriqi, Maun Morlanes and Dennis Hadžikadunić spoke to the media after our 3-3 draw with Real Valladolid. Kike Perez opened the scoring before Muriqi levelled after the break. Morlanes then put us ahead for the first time five minutes later before Selim Amallah equalised. The hosts thought they had found a late winner when Monchu struck with four minutes left on the clock, although Murqi hit the target again to secure a dramatic point. Find out what the trio had to say below:

Vedat Muriqi

"We should have won this match easily. We could have won, but in the end we were left with a point, which is not bad, but when we see the chances we had it's a pity.

"At half-time, when we went into the dressing room, Javier told us that we were doing well both in defence and in attack but we were losing 1-0. He was sure - and so was I - that we were going to change the game. We had many opportunities to score, but in the end a point isn't bad and let's keep going.

"Hopefully I can score more goals and so I can continue to help the team. Now we'll have a bit of peace of mind in the standings."

Manu Morlanes

"It was a difficult match. We knew we were coming to a complicated field. A team that had recently changed coach. I think that the team withstood the attacks well and, from my point of view, we had enough chances to go to the break with a win. Beyond that, the point is positive because we scored away from home, but in this category in the end if you forgive so much you end up scoring goals.

"One more point and one step closer to our objective. We know that this is not enough and we must continue to score. We have to prepare for the next game with great enthusiasm."

Dennis Hadžikadunić

"I have a mixture of feelings. In the end we managed to get a point in a very crazy match. One match is better than nothing. First we were losing, then we managed to come back and in the end we tied 3-3. It was a very open game.

"All my teammates have been supporting me and so has the coach. The squad is a very good group. They have helped me a lot and they are a very special group.

"The ambition now is to win the next game against Celta and we will prepare for that this week."
