RCD Mallorca B’s debut in the 2RFEF division was kick started with a goalless draw against Hércules.
Miquel Llabrés, Jaume Tovar and Ibra Diabaté went close during the opening exchanges, although we were unable to break the deadlock after an encouraging start to our season opener.
The visitors gave us a late scare as we headed to the break, although the bar denied an opening goal much to our relief.
Chances were few and far between after the restart as both sides struggled to create unnoteworthy efforts on goal.
The game was not to finish without out some late drama as we were reduced to 10 men after Quintanilla received his marching orders, and despite Hécules throwing men forward in search of a late winner, we held onto ensure the points were shared.
