Match Report: Hércules CF 2-2 RCD Mallorca B

RCD Mallorca B came back from two goals down to in dramatic fashion to claim an important point in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Hércules CF. 

We could not have wished for a worse start as the hosts took the lead through Alvarito in the ninth minute.

He would register his brace three minutes later to double Hércules CF’s advantage.

The forward almost got his hat-trick before the break had it not been for some fine defending, but we headed into the break with it all to do in the second half.

We came out after the restart looking to pull a goal back but had to wait until the 80^th minute when Garay struck to set up a tense finale.

Our efforts would not go unrewarded as in injury time Diabate took his chance with the last opportunity of the game to equalise and ensure we headed back to Palma with a valuable point.

We now look ahead to the local derby against UD Ibiza.
