The footballer Luis Orejuela, who at the age of 18 has already made his debut for RCD Mallorca’s first team, visited the school he attended throughout his childhood and teenage years, Santa Magdalena Sofía.
The reason for his visit was a charitable cause, as Orejuela donated a signed shirt for the raffle at the ‘Cursa solidària 2026’, organised by the school in aid of the Respiralia Foundation, which will take place this Friday, 5 June.
This is not the first time the young footballer has contributed to this event; during his time as a pupil at the school, Orejuela ran in several editions and even won one of them.
The Mallorca youth team player was very moved to be reunited with those who, until very recently, were his teachers, who praised his good manners and his dedication to his studies.
Furthermore, he was a magnet for students of all ages at the school, who can see Orejuela as a relatable role model who followed the same path at Santa Magdalena Sofía.
