Kang-In Lee, Dani Rodríguez and Vedat Muriqi spoke to the media after our 2-1 win at Valencia CF. We came from a goal behind to return to winning ways as Vedat Muriqi and Kang-In Lee’s goals gave us a 2-1 victory at the Mestalla. Find out what the trio had to say below:
Kang-In Lee
"The goal comes from a great job by the team and we are very happy. We deserved a victory like today's and we will continue to work to keep on scoring.
"I felt a lot of joy with the goal because it put us ahead, but on the other hand a little sad because it was against Valencia. It is a club that has helped me a lot over the last 10 years and is where I have grown up since I was a kid. My team must come first which is where I am and where I think that the higher we are, the better it is.”
Dani Rodríguez
"I think we had been working very well for weeks. On the matchday I think we deserved more. It's true that the role I'm playing, I'm not used to being in this situation. I think we all have to come together. This is a group and we are Real Club Deportivo Mallorca and nobody is above anybody else. Those of us who are coming from outside can change the match as you have seen today. We came out very well and I think we deserved this victory for the work we have been doing. It's a victory that strengthens us a lot.
"Football is like that and this is Primera División. You sometimes play great matches and you don't get points. I think that on Wednesday against Real Sociedad we played a great match and we didn't get any points. The first half we were dominated but the second half was totally ours and the result is fair."
Vedat Muriqi
"I'm very happy because I came back after two games and I was able to help my teammates and the team. To come back with a goal, I think a striker cannot ask for more. We have suffered a lot in these four games that we have been without a win and we have suffered a lot today as well. I dedicated the goal to Raikjovic.
"Now we celebrate, but we cannot forget that we have to recover because we have another game on Friday and we want to win it in order to be even happier."
