Dani Rodríguez, Jaume Costa and Pablo Maffeo spoke to club media after our 1-0 win over Celta Vigo. Dani Rodriguez scored the deciding goal in the 59th minute during a hard-fought victory. Find out what the trio had to say below:
Dani Rodríguez
"The truth is that I needed that on a personal level and I’m very happy to help the team with this victory. I get excited because all the attacking players want to score, we want to assist every game, and we are very happy that the goal serves to win today and I’m happy for my family too.
"At the end, they pressed, but I think we were comfortable. I think we came out with a lot of rhythm in the second half. In the first half we were more hesitant but in the second half it was totally ours."
Jaume Costa
"It was a complicated match because of the team they are. They are a team that presses a lot, that does things very well and has great players. We knew we were going to suffer a lot because they play very well, but we knew that with our weapons we could hurt them.
"In the end it worked out well for us, one more game at home suffering, which is what we have to do, but with hard work and effort everything is achieved and it is working out well for us."
Pablo Maffeo
"On a personal level, I'm feeling better every game, but little by little I'll get back to the level I had before.
"We want to win away from home. We will go to Cadiz to win and to get the three points.”
