The boss reflected on an important 1-0 win against Celta Vigo
Javier Aguirre could not hide his delight as we recorded a 1-0 win against Celta Vigo. Dani Rodriguez scored the deciding goal in the 59th minute during a hard-fought victory. Find out what the boss had to say below:
"The dressing room is happy because it was a complicated match. In the first half we were outplayed in everything and we adjusted things for the second half.
“I think the team came out better, got the goal and was good - more focused, more serious. We gave a better image in the second half. In the first half we lacked depth in the opponent's goal and we kept trying things from distance.
"I have experience and we have to be prudent. Nobody in January has been safe with 25 points.”
