We are champions of Copa del Rey Juvenil!

Our academy side beat RCD Espanyol on penalties

We have made history by winning the Copa del Rey Juvenil for the first time.

Carlos Muñoz’s side won (4-2) on penalties against RCD Espanyol after 120 minutes.

It was an even match between the two teams, both of which had their chances to break the deadlock.

Alex Woiski, Samuel Guzmán and Carles Sogorb had some of our better chances throughout the final, but a penalty shootout was required to separate the two sides.

Raúl Alarcón, Bruno Calcagno, Nicolás Barattucci and Guzmán all made no mistake from the spot as Joan Pol, the hero of the quarter-finals against Deportivo de la Coruña, saved RCD Espanyol's fourth kick to give the Mallorquinistas their first Copa del Rey Juvenil.
