Vicente Moreno says his side will have to be at their best to get an important result against league leaders Real Madrid on Wednesday evening.

Travelling to the capital in search of three points as we look to draw level with SD Eibar just outside the relegation zone, the boss is wary of the quality Los Blancos have among their ranks.

“It’s a challenge to play against Real Madrid,” he told journalists via video press conference. “It’s always a difficult team in whatever situation or circumstance, and that for me is always a good thing. We’re speaking about the best players in the world and I think that’s a very exciting challenge – this is the thinking we’ll have going into this game.

“We need to win and will do our best in Madrid even though we know it’s difficult. We’ll do our best and from there will have options [to win].”

Having previously beaten Real Madrid 1-0 at Visit Mallorca Estadi earlier this season, Moreno knows what it takes to overcome Zinedine Zidane’s side.

“We’ll have to do everything well,” he continued. “We’ve got to be committed to everything we do, be daring and add doses of quality; all the while hoping it’s not their day. When the game is over, we will have done everything in our power to do it.”
