Vicente Moreno has stressed RCD Mallorca will have to be at their best to get ‘important’ points against Real Valladolid this Saturday. 

 Our hosting of the Los Pucelanos marks the start of a run of fixtures against a trio of teams also fighting for survival, and the boss says he’s keen to see his side close the gap on clubs above us - starting by avenging the 3-0 defeat we suffered at Estadio José Zorrilla.

“When there is an end there’s nothing more, but here there will be another day and more games although this game is very important for us,” he said. “Not only because of what is behind us, but also with a victory we can get closer to Real Valladolid and the rest of the teams. 

“We’re in a very important moment and we are busy,” he added before responding to questions about our last clash with Real Valladolid. “These are results that are there that motivate us to reimburse. We could have moved forward, but they did it before the break.”
