Vicente Moreno: ‘We tried until the end but have not been able to do it’

The boss analysed a difficult evening at Son Moix in his post-match press conference

Vicente Moreno spoke to assembled journalists at his post-match press conference following our 1-0 defeat at home to Real Valladolid. See what the boss had to say about the game, transfer market and fighting relegation.

On the game…

“We don’t have to take away the merit of the opponent. We have not entered well and they are usually comfortable in games where little happens.”

“Every time we have lost a game it has hit us and we’re angry, but that does not take away tomorrow where we will be working on the next game. “

“We have not started well as usual. We had a goal that has not been a goal and win the end that has given us an excessive result for what you’ve seen on the pitch.”

On the transfer window…

“I don’t have an opinion on the transfer market. I do what the rest of the managers do that’s train what we have and with those we have to go and achieve our next goal.”

On the relegation zone…

“In order to achieve the objective, we will have to add more and we are competing against very good teams. We have to have normality in the situation. By working, we will give it everything and fight until the end.”
