Vicente Moreno says he is aware of the danger Real Sociedad pose ahead of their visit to Son Moix on Sunday.

Although the visitors have not won away at RCD Mallorca since 2003, the boss believes the fans will be the key to making the most of the home advantage.

“We have a very complicated game this Sunday, and although exciting, nothing is going to take away that feeling for us," he told the assembled press at a pre-match press conference. "Real Sociedad have a great team, I have seen games of theirs from last season and almost the whole game they played at Valencia CF.

“They are going to make us suffer a lot and we have to do the things we do best. We will need the support of our fans because when this team wins back the ball you have to run - they have a lot of quality. They give you the feeling that they are going to have a good season in La Liga due to the high-level they have in midfield and it’s the same in attack.

“We have the will and we are going to give it our all, and although it will be difficult to win this game, we have the chance to register two wins from two and we are going to try and do it.”

Moreno has registered 31 victories at Son Moix during his three years at the helm and recognises good form at home is a foundation for the team to build upon.

“The numbers suggest that and in the last few years we have been very strong at home and it has been at the base of we are have been doing. We have been getting points here but you have to treat it as doing the right things. In 10 months time if we are still highlighting the strength of Son Moix it will be because it is synonymous with doing the right things.”
