Goalscorers Salva Sevilla and Abdón Prats were on post-match interview duties following our 2-0 victory over promotion rivals UD Almería. The latter’s penalty opened the scoring just before half-time, while Salva Sevilla put the game beyond doubt with a well-taken finish with little over 15 minutes to go. Abdón Prats: "It was a complicated game, even more so after a defeat and against a direct rival. It's a very important victory that will make us stronger. Every weekend I try to work hard for the team. I was able to score today and I'm very happy. I set things up for Salva Sevilla, but he finished them. It's time to carry on and now think about Logroñés".
Salva Sevilla: "The important thing was to get the three points and score so it was at 2-0. It was a quick move. I cut it back because I saw that they were going to block my shot and it went well. These are three very important points against a direct rival - this is football. We wanted to change the dynamic and get these three points. This doesn't stop. It's time to prepare well for the next match and continue on our way.”
