Mateu Jaume, Martin Valjent, Marash Kumbulla and Jagoba Arrasate analyse the draw against RC Celta

Find out what our players and the boss had to say about the 1-1 draw

Mateu Jaume, Martin Valjent, Marash Kumbulla and Jagoba Arrasate analysed our 1-1 draw against RC Celta. Find out what they had to say below:

Mateu Jaume:

On the goal: We were superior these last 15 minutes and we gave it our all. We had chances and opportunities, and that's what we have to take away from it. I'm also happy with the reaction of the fans and the crowd when we scored. I think they deserve joy, which would have been three points. We'll keep working.

On the second half: We adjusted a few things, and playing with a five-man defense, we got into the box more. We have to take that into account, and now it's time to rest tomorrow so we can start preparing as best we can for the next game on Monday.

On a first goal at gome: I'm emotional, though. These have been very difficult days for me, and I think it's a dream to be able to score at home, with our fans and my family. We'll keep fighting to give the fans three points.

Martin Valjent:

On the gamet: We wanted to win, but every little detail costs you points. We saw that today. In the second half, we pushed harder and created a few more dangerous chances, but in the end, we only took a point, and we wanted more.

On his analysis: With the halftime substitution, we leveled the score a bit, and with the momentum of the crowd, we managed to draw. We wanted to win the match, but we couldn't create any more clear-cut chances.

On Mateu Jaume: I hope he enjoys it because he's an example of hard work and effort. He's a kid from the island, he feels the colors, and he wants to contribute. The goal helps the team a lot, and I have a lot of confidence in him. He's an example for us.

Marash Kumbulla:

On his feelings: I felt very good with my teammates, and we were facing a very tough team. We were looking to score the equalizer and then the winning goal. We had a few chances, but a draw was better than nothing.

On a new system: I think the team looked for space well in the first half, but the pitch wasn't helping; it was very dry. In the second half, we had more opportunities, and the whole team did a great job.

On the draw: I think it gives us confidence because when you draw or win in the final minutes, it gives you a lot of self-esteem. We're going to work hard this week.

Jagoba Arrasate:

On the draw: I think the goal changed everyone's face, but I'm left with the feeling that if the game had lasted a little longer... we were stuck in Celta's box and pressing hard. We have to consider the point as a success.

On the change of system: It was a very even game. We were good until the break in the first half, and they were superior afterward. We made the change to have more presence in the opponent's half and more drive. I think we saw a different team; we attacked more, with more chances, with more shots, and in the end, the goal came. We have to remember that the team wanted it and ended up almost bottling up Celta.

On the goal: It was a good goal from Mate. His control made his job easier, and then he put it in very well. Jan Salas and Marc were also very good, along with Dani, Kumbulla, and Abdón. That's what we want; we hope the substitutions help as well.

On Pablo Torre: He asked to be substituted, it was a bad move but above all he was very tired and we needed energy and that's why he came out.
