The Fundació Reial Mallorca invites ASPAYM Baleares and ABDEM to our game against Celta

The foundation welcomed various participants and workers to our game against Celta

Last Saturday, the Fundació Reial Mallorca organized a charity event with the participation of two leading social organizations in the Balearic Islands: the Association of People with Spinal Cord Injuries and Other Physical Disabilities of the Balearic Islands (ASPAYM Balears) and the Balearic Multiple Sclerosis Association (ABDEM).

Twenty-four people associated with both associations were able to enjoy the excitement of the match between RCD Mallorca and Celta at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. With this initiative, the Foundation and the club reaffirm their commitment to inclusion, supporting people with disabilities, and promoting social values through sport.

Alberto Izquierdo, director of the Fundació Reial Mallorca, said: "We continue working to ensure that the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix is an open and inclusive space for the entire community. We believe in football as a driving force for unity, where everyone fits in, without barriers or differences."

Mar Valero, head of the Departamento de Comunicación y Sensibilización de ASPAYM Balears and ABDEM, said: “It has been an unforgettable experience for our associations. Initiatives like this help us highlight diversity and demonstrate that sport is also a space for inclusion. We would like to thank the Fundació Reial Mallorca for giving our members the opportunity to experience an exciting day that reinforces the importance of accessibility and equality in sport and society.”

The Foundation appreciates the collaboration and enthusiasm shown by ASPAYM Baleares and ABDEM, whose daily work contributes to improving the quality of life and strengthening inclusion for many people in our community.

The association develops rehabilitation programs, social support, and inclusion activities, serving as a leader in the defense of the rights and autonomy of this group in the Balearic Islands.

ABDEM

Its work focuses on providing comprehensive support, physical therapy, psychological care, and awareness programs, with the goal of promoting social inclusion and improving patients' quality of life.
