RCD Mallorca has lifted the 44th Agriculture Trophy in the game where Vázquez men have beaten Third Division’s Poblense FC by 4 to 1 thanks to strikes from Lago Junior, Oscar Díaz and a brace by the Academy players Ángel, one of them after a spectacular self-pass into space. Meanwhile the home team’s goal was scored by Lucas after a great long-range shot from outside the box.
The match was very entertaining and disputed. The home side have not stopped fighting during the whole 90 minutes and have put on a great display, despite the superiority shown by the Reds which was translated into greater possession and control of the match.
At the end local authorities handed the trophy to Jesús Cabrero, RCD Mallorca’s captain.
