Luis García Plaza: ‘We won’t change our way of working despite the defeat’
The boss spoke to the media after our defeat to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu
Luis García Plaza spoke to the media after we suffered a 6-1 defeat at Real Madrid. Find out what the boss had to say about the team, debutants and our form.
On the team...
"When you have a bad game at another stadium, you lose. When you do that against an opposition like Madrid, you get a good beating. The game started badly and the team got nervous. There's nothing to say when you have such a bad game.
"We haven't been there in defence at all. We've been outplayed and they've been very good. They already scored five against Celta. We have to correct things, but nobody has to change the way they work. We have eight points. We knew we would have hard moments and the first one has come.”
On Gayà...
"It's not easy that after two minutes what happened to him happens. He's a kid who has made his debut in LaLiga and he has to keep working and learning. We are in the back line, that's what we have. We have to give confidence to everyone.”
