Lago Junior, Dominik Grief and Fer Niño analyse our defeat to CA Osasuna

The trio spoke to club media following our 3-2 loss at the Visit Mallorca Estadi

Lago Junior, Dominik Grief and Fer Niño were on post-match media duties after our 3-2 defeat to CA Osasuna. Find out what the trio had to say about the result, our performance and where the defeat leaves us below:

On the game...

Lago Junior: "We are sad because the team played a very complete match. We worked well, and we were ahead, but they are a good team. We had clear chances, but that's football. It's not over yet.

Dominik Greif: "It was a complicated match. In the second half we were all very tired because of the heat. We almost got the equaliser from a penalty, but the VAR disallowed it. You never know what's going to happen now that VAR is here.”

Fer Niño: "We're annoyed with how the defeat went. I think it's a bit unfair. We deserved more. When it was at 3-2, we were a bit down. We have to think about the next match.”

On the team...

Lago Junior: "It's a complicated time to play at 14:00. It is not an excuse, today the team has given everything. We couldn't win, but we have to continue like this so that the victories come.”

Dominik Greif: "When you make your debut, you can’t imagine what the result will be- even more so when you concede three goals. It's good to have made my debut in this league, with this team and in front of the fans, but I'm sad about the defeat.”

Fer Niño: "We have to keep working and compete with all teams. If we work as we have been doing, things will go well. It's time to continue.”
