RCD Mallorca heads to Paris as part of LaLiga's international growth project

We visited Stade Jean-Bouin, Roland Garros and Parc des Princes to explore further business opportunities and growth

This week RCD Mallorca took part in latest international project organised by LALIGA in Paris, an initiative promoted with the aim of supporting professional football entities in the development of strategic projects and new business areas.

Over three days, more than 30 LALIGA clubs, including RCD Mallorca, were able to learn more about management, hospitality and innovation models applied to some of France's most important sports and cultural venues.

Visit to leading sports venues

The programme included visits to the Adidas Arena, Accor Arena, Stade Jean-Bouin, the Roland Garros tennis complex and Parc des Princes, where attendees were able to watch the match between France and Ukraine and analyse Paris Saint-Germain FC's operating model up close.

All the visits shared a common theme: the search for premium experiences, the diversification of venue uses and their integration into the cultural, tourist and economic activity of the city.

An exchange to continue growing

This initiative reinforces the role of the LALIGA Clubs Office as a driving force for the professionalisation and growth of Spanish football, promoting the optimisation of infrastructure, the evolution of hospitality and the opening of new sources of income for clubs.

The trip provided an insight into how French venues combine sporting activities with cultural and entertainment events, maximising their profitability beyond the 90 minutes of the match. It also served as a reference for the creation of different hospitality products tailored to multiple audience profiles.

Jaime Blanco, director of the LALIGA Clubs Office, stressed that ‘the growth of our clubs involves looking at the stadium as a living ecosystem, capable of generating value every day of the year.’ For his part, Milos Nenadovic, head of LALIGA's infrastructure exploitation vertical, underlined the importance of ‘optimising the use of venues and connecting better with international audiences.’

Innovation and vision for the future

This trip has reinforced the vision of football as a driver of tourism and economic development. The participating clubs, including RCD Mallorca, were able to see how sport is part of Paris' urban identity and how efficient infrastructure management can become a key tool for local growth.

With this edition, LALIGA consolidates its shared learning model and RCD Mallorca continues to work towards further professionalising its structures, improving the experience at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix and implementing new opportunities for exploitation and service for its fans.
