Lago Junior and Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta analyse the win over FC Cartagena

The goalscorer and second-half substitute spoke to media after going top of the league

Lago Junior and Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta were on post-match media duties after our 2-1 win at FC Cartagena. Extending our unbeaten run to 13 games and ending the evening top of the table, find out what the pair had to say below:

On the game...

Lago Junior: “We know we’ve had a complicated game. They’ve come from a negative dynamic but we knew they would come at us like that, although the important thing is getting the three points and continue being at the top. We are happy with our work."

Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta: “At 2-0 we’ve missed having more of the ball, and we had to suffer a bit when they scored, but we have got the three points. They were playing good football. In the second half they have come out at us and we had to suffer a bit.”

On upcoming games...

Lago Junior: “For the first penalty, Dani told me that if they gave another one that I would take it - I’m grateful to him for that. Now we have to think about the game on Sunday.”

Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta: “We all have to be prepared. There are a lot of games in little time. I came on for half an hour, but we now have to think about Sunday where a team who have won five consecutive games will visit us and it’s going to be difficult.”
