Jordi Mboula and Martin Valjent reflect on our goalless draw at Real Zaragoza

The pair were on post-match duties following the stalemate at La Romareda on Matchday 10

Jordi Mboula and Martin Valjent were on hand to share their thoughts after we drew 0-0 with Real Zaragoza at La Romareda. While we were unable to end the weekend top of the league, we extended our unbeaten run to nine games. Find out what the pair had to say below:

On the result...

Jordi Mboula: “They came out of that with more than we did. We deserved much more from the game. Insistence has not been enough, but that's the Segunda División: everyone can beat you, but it's a point and we need to move on. That's football. Sometimes you don't get what you work for in the week.”

Martin Valjent: “It’s always important to add [points] in this division, but we wanted something more from that. I think we have started the game very well, but with the substitutions, clearer chances came. The team's effort has been fantastic.”

On the performance...

Jordi Mboula: “We always go out to win games. We know the objectives that we have. We have to put right this point next week against SD Ponferradina.”

Martin Valjent: “[Franco] Russo has had a good game, but so has the whole team. We’ve all had a good game. We look more at the collective than the individual. In football, some days it goes in, others it doesn’t. We have to move on because we know that this is a demanding division."
