The preparations for our pre-season trip to Austria

Find out the work which has gone into our pre-season trip

Nothing is being left to chance.

The first team travles this Saturday to Austria as we pre-season preparations continue in the town of Bad Häring.

Our kitmen have been hard at work as we packed 145 pairs of boots, 20 pairs of gloves, three complete kits for each player and four specific kits for goalkeepers. In addition to this, there are 40 balls and 40 additional suitcases full of sports equipment, textiles, recovery, analysis and training tools.

Each member of the staff also travels with their work kit: shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and technical equipment. From the first minute to the last detail is planned so that the players only have to focus on training, competing and living together.

One of the invisible pillars of this type of accommodation is nutrition. The people in charge of this area make sure that no detail is missing during the four meals a day. They also travel from Palma with a boot full of NDL supplements, all kinds of products that allow for perfect pre-season planning. Everything is geared towards covering six key sessions: three high-intensity training sessions and three matches spread over the week against Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai FC, Olympique Lyon and Parma Calcio.
