RCD Mallorca will hand out 6,000 backpacks with the club's and Grup Güell's crests to the participants of the island's traditional Marxa des Güell a Lluc a peu which celebrate its 51st edition in August.
Before that, on Sunday 11 May, taking advantage of the Trobada de Gent Gran organised by the Grup Güell and held in Lluc, around 1,000 backpacks will be handed out, predominantly red in colour, with black details on the two bottom corners and on the drawstrings used to fasten and close the bag.
The words ‘Poble’, ‘Cultura’ and ‘Mallorquinitat’, the group's motto, are also written on them.
Last April, RCD Mallorca and Grup Güell renewed their collaboration agreement, a fact that reinforces the club's commitment to Mallorcan society.
This delivery of around 7,000 backpacks is part of the joint actions aimed at promoting the culture and traditions of the island and community values.
This Friday, the first symbolic exchange of backpacks took place between the director of the RCD Mallorca Social Department, Román Albarrán, and the president of Grup Güell, Francisco Bauzá.
