Sergi Darder, Aboubaka Soumahoro, Pablo Torre and Zito Luvumbo were on the scoresheet as we beat Al-Ittihad 4-2 in our second pre-season camp gam .
Luis Garcia handed Arnau Tenas his debut; started Mateu Jaume, Martin Valjent, Aboubaka Soumahoro and Luis Orejuela in defence; Antonio Sánchez, Sergi Darder and Pablo Torre in midfield and went with Antoniu Roca, Jan Virgili and Abdon in attack.
We started the better side nad moved the ball around well and it was not long before Darder opened the scoring with a clever finish from inside the box after a turnover in posession in a dangerous area.
Abdon came close to adding a second just minutes later but it was the Saudi Arabian side that levelled matters in the 12th minute through Matteo.
We restored our lead in the 17th minute when Soumahoro climbed highest to head home Torre's whippped corner and mark his debut with a goal.
Despite the frenetic start, both sides found their rhythm as we headed into the break with a slender advantage.
Torre extended our lead in 10 minutes after the start when he put the finishing touch to Orejuela's cross into the box.
Substitute Luvumbo - one of many changes as we looked to give our players minutes - rounded of the scoring for us in the 65th minute when he fired home from range.
Al-Ittihad managed to pull a late goal back through Al Bishri but we held onto to record an important win.
