48º Trofeu Ciutat de Palma presentation – 150 Aniversari Estrella Damm

RCD Mallorca, el Ajuntament de Palma and Estrella Damm spoke ahead of our friendly against Paris Saint-Germain

Palma City Hall hosted the presentation of the 48th Trofeu Ciutat de Palma – Estrella Damm 150th Anniversary, which will pit RCD Mallorca against Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champion.

The event was attended by the Bermellón’s latest signing, Arnau Tenas; Alfonso Díaz, CEO of Business RCD Mallorca; Albert Salas, the club’s Director of Corporate Affairs; the mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínez; Javi Bonet, Deputy Mayor of the City of Palma; David Salom, Director General of Sports for the City of Palma; and Pedro de Juan, a representative of Estrella Damm.

The Mallorca team will face the two-time European champion in one of the most anticipated matches of the summer for the club’s fans. Anticipation has been at an all-time high, and as of today, tickets for the match are completely sold out. In addition, a large turnout of season-ticket holders is expected, after the club reached 19,552 members last Friday.

Regarding season ticket holders for the 2026–27 season, Alfonso Díaz is confident that the club will “reach 20,000 season ticket holders” and says he is “proud that so many people want to be part of this and continue to support the team.” Likewise, the Corporate CEO of RCD Mallorca thanks “Estrella Damm for its collaboration with the Ciutat de Palma Trophy over all these years.”

For his part, Arnau Tenas says he is “proud to be part of this club,” that he sees “a united team,” and that they are eager to “bring it back to where it belongs.” And, regarding next Wednesday’s match, the goalkeeper’s goal is clear: “If we can win, even better.”

The match will take place on Wednesday, August 5, at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. The official presentation of the roster will begin at 8:30 p.m., while the match is scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m.
