Dani Rodríguez and Tino Kadewere reflect on our 4-2 win over Villarreal

The duo spoke to the media after we secured yet another win at home

Dani Rodríguez and Tino Kadewere spoke to the media after our 4-2 win against Villarreal. A brace from Dani Rodríguez and goals from Tino Kadewere and Vedat Muriqi secured all three points as our impressive home form continued. Find out what the goalscorers had to say below:

Dani Rodriguez

On his brace:

"The truth is that I am very happy for my family, for my children, for my wife, for my friends, for my parents, for the people who were there when I didn't score. I was there for so long without being able to do it, so I am very happy and on top of that it has served us with a win."

On the celebration of the goal:

"Right there were my children and my wife, the truth is that I was thrilled. A brace in the first division is amazing for me and I think that every game is a gift and to do it with a brace, just imagine.”

On Villarreal's goals:

"I think their goals are new mistakes, they practically didn't generate anything against us and it's something that needs to be corrected. I think the team has done an immense job. The changes have responded and that speaks very well of the team. Whoever plays in the starting lineup, the team is competitive.”

On the team:

"I think we were the protagonists, both for the good and the bad. We have the same points as Villarreal, which is a really great team and it's wonderful. We have to take a step forward and we want to do things well away from home. It's true that we have a complicated away game, but we're looking forward to it.

"The ovation has been wonderful. It's been great since the first day I've been here. I love the people very much and I hope I can return that affection with my work.”

Tino Kadewere

"I am very happy and I am very proud. It was a good game and it was a great goal. I've been waiting for this for a long time. It came at a good time too because we got the three points.

"Villarreal is a very good team. We know it was not an easy game, but we tried to press as much as possible. It was great because we scored a lot of goals."
