Xisco Campos speaks with stars of the RCD Mallorca Genuine side

The defender caught up with Fran, Toni and Daniel to hear about their season so far and keeping fit in lockdown

Captain Xisco Campos recently hosted a virtual discussion with Fran, Toni and Daniel of our RCD Mallorca Genuine side.

The 38-year-old was keen to touch base with the team to see how the past few months of quarantine had been, their physical and mental state and the desire to get back out onto the pitch. Much like competitive football throughout Europe, La Liga Genuine division has been suspended indefinitely as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, putting our stars’ fine season on hold. Sitting in second place level on points with Rayo Vallecano, RCD Mallorca Genuine have won all six of their games so far this campaign and are in contention to be crowned champions come the end of the season.

The Genuine side has received the full support of the RCD Mallorca Foundation throughout the course of the government’s state of alarm, contributing to the assistance of over 50 players who have participated in the two phases of competition played to date.

While Daniel, Fran and Toni may miss football for the time being, during lockdown they received the panini card treatment which can be seen below.
