Vicente Moreno believes RCD Mallorca must overcome a "difficult" Alavés side to get back to winning ways ahead of their trip to Mendizorrotza Stadium this Sunday.
Los Bermellones have been unlucky to record two defeats prior to what will be a third game in the space of seven days, but the manager is optimistic his team can improve matters following a positive second half display against Atletico Madrid earlier in the week.
“Alavés is an intense team that don’t lose the ball often and have a manager who always makes things difficult," he said at his pre-match press conference. "We were closer to drawing than losing against Atletico Madrid and this is the way of doing things we need.
“The position we are in affects little. If you get a win you are better, but now we have a new opportunity and are excited to have in our hand the option to better. We won’t conform with the situation we’re in, there is a need to co-exist with them without being nervous and be intelligent while trying to render and add points. The physical issue following the last week will not determine a win or loss.”
