Vicente Moreno says his side know the importance of gaining points against Getafe CF this weekend as we look to pull ourselves out of the relegation zone. 

The visitors head to Son Moix having further progressed in Europe following a midweek win at Ajax, but Moreno has warned against suggesting the opposition may suffer from any potential fatigue. 

“I don’t think that factor counts and on top of that they have qualified for the next round of the Europa League. There’s no doubt about Getafe CF’s level and it’s giving them a great season, good performances and they are doing things well. 

“He [José Bordalás] has come from a division below, and whenever you train at a higher level it’s because you have achieved it on the pitch, he deserves the maximum respect and is a mirror to look at yourself in. It can help a lot to compare the things you are doing with Klopp or Guardiola, but him as well.”

Take Kubo was voted Man of the Match having contributed a goal and assist in our 3-3 draw at Real Betis on Matchday 25, and no one is more pleased for the teenager than Moreno.

“Take has evolved, he has more experience and has more chance of keeping his place in the starting XI. It’s part of the process and he is a boy that loves a lot fan and I’m happy for him.“
