Vedat Muriqi meets with school children from Campos and Alcudia

Our forward spoke with youngsters about life and football

School children from Fundació Reial Mallorca partnered schools in the Campos and Alcudia areas visited the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix to meet with a special host. 

Both groups took a joint tour, where they were able to see the facilities, starting in the museum, followed by the experience of stepping onto the pitch and visiting the tunnel and dressing rooms.

It was there that they met Muriqi, who shared experiences from his professional career, shared anecdotes, and gave advice, in addition to answering questions, taking selfies and signing autographs. 

Among other questions posed by the participants, the forward shared his experience of his professional debut: "I was 16 years old, a kid. I felt like I had fulfilled my dreams. But of course, more than fulfilling them, I was beginning to realize my dreams. I played very little, three or four minutes, but making my debut was incredible. I still remember that day; it will always be special."

This visit concludes two months of eight visits by first-team players to more than 26 working groups, with nearly 500 participants and 30 community and social-sports professionals.

These initiatives took place in different neighborhoods of Palma and in the Part Forana district: Marratxí, Campos, and Alcúdia with Vedat Muriqi, Sergi Darder, Mateu Jaume, Dani Rodríguez, Manu Morlanes, Martin Valjent, Robert Navarro, and David López all involved. 

The Foundation's activities comes unders its social programs: Juguis on juguis, guanyes!, Junts som millors! and Formem equip! which are a transmission of values ​​from professional players that has been carried out since 2011 and is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Social Welfare Department of the city councils of Palma, Marratxí, Campos, and Alcúdia.
