The forward shared an insight into his recovery from injury with club media
It is all about the process for Robert Navarro.
Our forward suffered an abductor muscle injury in his right leg during training on March 8 and more than a month later, the injury has still sidelined him, although Robert continues his preparations to return to the pitch in the best possible shape.
"At first, the first phase involved a bit more manual treatment. I was in Pamplona with my physio, Jose, who helped me a lot in this first phase, which was much calmer, relaxing and about treatment. It was very cold, getting game ready, and all that," Navarro said about the start of his recovery process.
"In the first part of training, we do a little warm-up on the roller, then some mobility, strengthening exercises, a bit of muscle activation, and finishing with running technique, which I think is important. From here, we move onto the pitch and continue with the training and exercises I'm supposed to do.
"The truth is, I'm fine. When you have to [get injured], at first you're hurt, obviously, but then you accept it and try from the first minute to get back on track and do everything calmly, very calmly. Recovering well, which is ultimately what's important. I'm feeling very good and happy to be doing more and more things, more field work, and getting closer. Taking it easy, but we're doing well."
