Real Mallorca has invited all Balearic Olympic sportspeople that won a medall in the Rio games 2016 to attend next September 4th the match between Real Mallorca y el Real Oviedo.
For now, only Bronze-medall holder Rudy Fernández has confirmed his attendance. It is worth noting that other Balearic sportspeople are still competing in Brazil or are training outside the island. Nevertheless, the Club makes this invitation extensive until confirming each invitee.
From Real Mallorca the borrad wants to promote sporting spirit and inter-disciplinary relations.
At the half-time break, everytime a Olympic medallist takes the invitation, at the VIP lounge a little homage will be paid, like this weekend to Rudy Fernández.
Another sportsperson has been invited to this match, who has also confirmed her attendance, is the champion Brigitte Yagüe.
