Rodrigo Battaglia, Fer Niño and Jaume Costa analyse the defeat to Villarreal CF

The trio reflected on our 3-0 loss at La Cerámica with club media

Rodrigo Battaglia, Fer Niño and Jaume Costa were on post-match media duties after our 3-0 loss to Villarreal CF. A Franco Russo own goal and strikes from Manu Trigueros and Dani Parejo saw our winless run in LaLiga continue. Find out what the trio had to say below:

Rodrigo Battaglia: "I have total confidence in this group and I know that we will pull it off. Now we'll use the break to rest, firstly to reach the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey and, secondly, to prepare for the 'final' that we'll play at home against Cádiz CF.”

Fer Niño: "It's a day to forget. The first goal ruined our game plan. The ones we had we didn't take advantage of and they did. I have to demand more from myself to score and keep working. The team is hurt because we came from a very good week. We have to keep on moving forward.”

Jaume Costa: "It was a special return. I would have changed everything to get the points. The own goal was tough to take. They felt comfortable with the ball and we didn't take advantage of ours. We are a team that today generates little and concedes a lot. We have to be united and together.”
