Pablo Maffeo, Salva Sevilla and Muriqi analyse the 2-1 defeat at Real Betis

The trio were on post-match media duties after a frustrating evening

Pablo Maffeo, Salva Sevilla and Muriqi spoke to club media after our 2-1 defeat at Real Betis. William José’s late penalty saw us suffer the loss after Muriqi had cancelled out Álex Moreno’s opener. Find out what the trio had to say about the result below:

Pablo Maffeo: "The team gave their best at all times against such a difficult opponent like Real Betis. In the end, the league is very long and we have to continue like this. The worst part of the match was the injury. Now we have two important matches at home. We are strong there and I'm sure we will get the three points."

Salva Sevilla: "We leave with a bad taste in our mouths. We have given our best and we have competed. We wanted to be as close as possible until the end and we did well. They were not comfortable. We have to keep doing things this well. Let's hope that Gala's injury is as little as possible, but it looks bad.”

Vedat Muriqi: "We didn't deserve to lose today. We could have taken a point against such a difficult opponent as Betis. It was a pity about the penalty. We have to keep fighting. I'm happy with the goal, but I want points.”
