RCD Mallorca B manager has given a press conference after the last training session ahead of tomorrow’s Son Malferit clash. The youth team visits at 18:30 Atlètic Balears in League’s Day 2. The Basque knows that “we only want to take 3 points, but everybody knows it is a different match. We are the only Balearic teams in Segunda B and it is very normal that the fans want to see this game”.
But beyond rivalry, Olaizola has made it clear that “it has to be a football game, whomever one may support, respect has be paid and at the end of the game, we have to shake hands and greet one another”. In this line, former first team skipper has guaranteed that “motivation will not be a problem. We should avoid being nervous or too tense”.
When one journalist asked him about tomorrow’s opponent, the Northern Spaniard has defined “Atlètic Balear’s project as solid and counting on an important budget within the division. Their squad is strong and they work towards promotion”. It will be the first time that Olaizola meets Christian Ziege on the dug-out next door and has mentioned that he is a football he respects.
