Tino Kadewere’s hat-trick and Amath Ndiaye saw us lift the 50è Trofeu de s’Agricultura

Tino Kadewere’s hat-trick and Amath Ndiaye saw us lift the 50è Trofeu de s’Agricultura with a 4-1 win over U.D Poblense as our off-season friendly fixtures continue following the start of the World Cup.

Following a handful of chances to take an early lead through Kadewere and Àngel, we got ourselves in front in the 25th minute when the Zimbabwean provided the finishing touch to the winger’s cross.

Our lead did not last long as the hosts were level in the 38th minute when Cape set up David Plomer to equalise as we headed in the break with the scoreline at 1-1.

Javier Aguirre made a raft of changes at the break to keep players fresh and provide game time to others.

Gio Gonzalez was one of the substitutes who made an impact, setting up the newly introduced Amath restore our lead in the 68th minute.

Kadewere’s second of the evening came in the 78th minute before our forward completed his hat-trick three minutes later.
