Match Report: RCD Mallorca B 3-0 CD Llosetense

An own goal and strikes from Cristian Makate and Javier Albín secure all three points

An own goal and late strikes from Cristian Makate and Javier Albin helped RCD Mallorca B overcome nine-man CD Llosetense at the Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio.

Winds of up to 70km saw quick turnovers of possession during the opening exchanges as both sides struggled find their rhythm. While the better chances of the first half fell in our favour through Adrián Montalbán and Javier Llabrés, we headed into the break deadlocked.

Early pressure upon the restart yielded its reward as 11 minutes into the second half Cristián Sánchez flicked Iván Bravo’s dangerous cross past his own goalkeeper. Things would go from bad to worse for the visitors as first Juan Solivellas and then Cristián Sánchez would receive their marching orders.

We capitalised on the numerical advantage in the 89th minute when susbtite Cristian Makate hammered home a volley to double our lead, before Javier Albín put the icing on the cake a minute later to secure all three points. Julián Robles’ side will now begin preparations for a clash with Alcudia on Matchday 15.
