Match report: RCD Mallorca B 12-0 UD Son Verí

Nine different goalscorers hit the target as we ran riot at Son Bibiloni

We recorded one of the biggest scorelines in our history as nine different goalscorers were on target as we beat nine-man UD Son Verí 12-0 at Ciutat Esportiva Antonio Asensio.

Elias opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a composed finished before Jaume Tovar doubled our advantage in the 25th minute from the penalty spot.

Things went from bad to worse for the visitors when they were reduced to nine men for remonstrating with the referee, resulting in the floodgates opening.

Javier Llabrés put the finishing touch to a free-flowing team move in the 38th minute, while Tovar then completed his brace two minutes from the break.

We would head into the break five goals to the good when Pau Mascaró struck a minute later in what was a two-minute double salvo.

It was damage limitation for the remainder of the second half as UD Son Ver, although they were powerless to prevent Ibrahim getting on the scoresheet in the four minutes into the second half, and Víctor Lázaro then adding a seventh a minute later.

Javier Albín got himself amongst the scorers in the 56th minute, before Ibrahim completed his brace on the hour mark.

Valverde put the scoreboard at double digits six minutes later, while Elias and then Julen completes the scoring to extend our unbeaten run to 29 games.
